Got this for really resonable and it was wonderful. Room was like new. Service was terrific, checked in in early morning. These people were great. Great parking. the entire stay was one of the best ever. View was great. We just loved this. It is a really nice place to stay.

We booked a four night stay and then extended it to five nights while there. It was amazing. I could not believe that I finally found a hotel in VA Beach that I finally liked. The lobby is nice, the parking is elevator and our big F150 truck fit under the 6ft 8inch over-head. The security is good...doors are locked. You need a pass to enter from the beach or the parking lot. The continental breakfast was a surprise! They had waffles, hot sausage and eggs one day, and then biscuits and gravy another...cereal, danish, bagels, juices, milk, and the waffles are always there. The seating is ocean front and with a window wall view to the gorgeous ocean. Every single room is ocean front. The suites are a surprise too. We had a separate bedroom and living room. There was a sink, under the counter microwave, a good sized frig...not one of those tiny ones. And the big surprise was the cabinet over the sink and microwave. We had room for dishes and cans of food that we brought along to save time and money while in the room. We went to a food store since the frig was such a good size. The ONE and ONLY thing that could be CHANGED...is the fact that the continental breakfast is only until 9:30AM weekdays, while until 10AM weekends. Although weekdays are a work day for the staff...while on vacation, most people like to sleep in a bit. That was the ONLY negative I could find, and it was minor. This is a great place to stay at. We stayed at five hotels in VA Beach and will be back to this one for sure, and soon :-)

I reserved a room for 3 days and the room is not what the internet shows. The internet shows the VIP suite (which there is only one). When we arrived the a/c wasn't working properly and the desk clerk belonged in a budget inn! This is not the quality that one expects from Comfort Inn. The bedroom did not have any windows and reminds you of a closet! Needless to say, we left and stayed at another hotel for the 3 days. This hotel is old and run down. For a better price we stayed at the Springfield Marriot. PS...I am still fighting with them for my deposit back.

Layout of the room wastes a lot of space that could have been used. Only one bed per suite. When reserving use the internet. I used the internet to book and then called to move the stay up one day and got screwed because they charge the full rate (weekend rate for a weekday) when you call. Even though the room was available and the internet had a lower rate they played dumb and said we don't know the rate (of their own hotels). The card reader would not work coming in from the beach and the staff just watched. They have an information desk (so we thought) but it was just way to talk to you about a time share down the street. Breakfast and view was good but I will not stay again due to price compared to others on the boardwalk.

Great location but terrible accomodations. The room wasn't very clean and the air conditioner didn't work. ""Free"" breakfast was from 6-9 AM only - I never made it down in time so don't know how it was. All would have been tolerable if I wasn't paying a ridiculous nightly rate.
